Hi! I maintain this website is just to spread information about me and provide convenient ways to contact me. I make my resume and information about my graduate work available in order to give more specifics about me. To make it easier for you, you can find all of the documents and links scattered about this site. I am sure you can find it. If not, there is nothing I can do for you. About me

I’m Jiannian Weng, who now is a Ph.D. student in EECS department @ Vanderbilt University(update 09/04/2010). Before that, I got a master of science degree from Tongji University, Shanghai, China! I ‘m now 25 years old (2010.1.12). After 15 years living in Hanjiang(涵江) where is my hometown. Deep inside, I always take myself as ‘hanjiang ren’. And then, I moved into centre of Putian to get my high school education at NO1. Middle school. Three years later, I was admitted into Dept. of Automation of Xiamen University, through China College Entrance Exam. Four years later, I moved to Tongji University, Shanghai to pursue Master of Science degree. Lucky to me. Time flies. Two and a half year past from then. Where am I gonna go for my Ph.D. degree. We will see.

Things may help you

There are some interesting tools I’m into that I think may help you a lot, by you I mean a few particular people or a large number of people. The first thing is Wordpress, which is the tool I used to make this website. It is really easy to learn. And then, LaTeX is what I used to replace the popular Word (Processing tool made by Microsoft, you know, Office tool). It is more like a scientific word except that it is made by command line, it is open-sourced and it can have a better type. More interesting things will come later.

Other odds and Ends

Aside from that, anything else I’ve put together here I at one point thought was a good idea to organize for public viewing. Hopefully you can find something interesting in those sections as well.
